Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule is a penicillin-type antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. This antibiotic is used to treat different types of bacterial infections of the throat, lungs, ears, nose, urinary tract, and skin. Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule is also used with other medications to kill helicobacter pylori bacteria that cause stomach ulcers. It stops the growth of bacteria causing the infection. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Side effects of Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule are diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin. Use it cautiously in individuals with kidney problems. Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule can make birth control pills less effective. You may be asked to take a different way of birth control methods to prevent unintended pregnancy. You can take Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule with or without food. For the ease of remembering, take this amoxycillin capsule around the same time every day. Once an antibiotic is started, it is always recommended to finish the entire course of treatment. For the best results, take this antibiotic at evenly spaced times.

You may experience a stuffed nose and pain or pressure behind your eyes, nose, cheeks, or forehead. Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule is used to treat bacterial sinusitis.
Lung infections
Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule is used to treat the following lung infections: 1. Pneumonia is an infection of the air sacs in the lungs (either single or both lungs). It can be bacterial and viral. Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule is used to treat pneumonia caused by bacteria. 2. Bronchitis is the swelling and irritation of bronchial tubes that regulates air passage in the lungs. Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule is used to treat bronchitis caused by bacteria.
Skin and soft tissue infections
Skin and soft tissue infections occur when the bacteria invade the skin and its supporting structures. Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule is used to treat all skin infections including abscess caused by bacteria.
Cystitis
Cystitis is the swelling of the urinary bladder usually caused by a bacterial infection. This is more common in women because their urethra is much shorter, which means bacteria can go into the bladder more easily. Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule is used to treat cystitis caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci, and Klebsiella species.
Gonorrhoea
Gonorrhoea is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by Neisseria gonorrhoea bacteria that infects both men and women. It spreads during vaginal, oral or anal sex without a condom or other barrier method. Amoxycillin 500 MG Capsule is used to treat the gonococcal infection.
